Shown in the app itself

Everything in one quiet place.

Meetings, notes, answers and next steps, in Everyday Paper on the web. With Web sync, the same notes are in the Mac, iPhone and iPad apps, now in TestFlight.

Home

The day, at a glance.

A scratchpad that saves as you type, the notes to pick up where you left off, what’s coming up from your calendars, and the tasks that are due, each with the note it came from.

  • Take notes from an event: a meeting note, ready when you press Record
  • A one-page brief before you walk in
  • Late and due-today tasks together
Home: notes to pick up where you left off, the meetings coming up from your calendars with Brief and Take notes, and the tasks due soon, each marked with its note

Writing

A quiet place to write.

Headings that fold, checklists, links and attachments, with your folders and tasks close by. The formatting bar stays in reach as the note scrolls.

  • Notes, Summary, Transcript and Files, one menu away
  • Folders with colours and groups, and tags
  • Every note keeps its history

Frames

Structure that fills itself in.

Drop a frame into any note: a Day planner, a Book & article summary, Cornell notes, a Library shelf and seven more. Each has real fields, and AI can fill them from what Paper already has.

  • Type / on an empty line, or use With a frame… in the New menu
  • Plan my day from your calendars and tasks
  • Every frame of a kind collects in the sidebar: Day plans, the Library, the Cornell deck

Summaries

The useful parts, kept.

Enhance turns rough notes and the transcript into a summary, with the sections that fit and suggested tasks to add. Your own writing stays as it is.

  • Best fit, Shorter, More detail or Actions first
  • Choose your usual style in Settings
  • Improve a draft and compare before you keep it

Transcripts

Go back to what was said.

Press Record in the room or on a call. The transcript sits one menu away from your notes, with speakers and times.

  • Record from the note or from Home, or press R
  • Take notes and New meeting never start the microphone on their own
  • Edit the transcript, or write it up into the note
  • No bot joins the meeting

Ask

Answers from your own notes.

Ask in plain words from the bar at the bottom of the page. Relevant notes give the answer its context, cited by number so you can check.

  • About the open note, or across all your notes
  • Conversations are kept in Chats
  • Add an answer to the note in one click

Tasks

Know what’s next.

Tasks live in their notes and come together in one list, with Inbox, Today and Upcoming. Use Everyday Calendar with the same email address and the same list is there too.

  • Type “Send the brief tomorrow 10am” to add one
  • Due dates, priorities, repeats and reminders
  • Each task links back to the note it came from

On the go

Made for the phone, too.

On a small screen, one thing at a time: your notes, Home, tasks and chats, a tap apart, with a new note in the middle and Ask at the bottom. Light or dark, as you like it.
